CONFLICT MINERALS REPORTING TEMPLATE SUBMISSION

Please download and complete the below Conflict Minerals Reporting Template(s). Once complete, upload completed document(s) to the AAG – Conflict Mineral Form.

To ensure compliance with these efforts, AAG must request information regarding the use of conflict minerals from its suppliers, who, in turn must solicit that information from the next tier of suppliers, continuing down the supply chain. Therefore, AAG imposes new reporting requirements on our supply chain.

As a result of these efforts, we are requiring our supplier partners to immediately undertake the following actions, which are similar to those of other automotive and cross-industry manufacturing companies:

  1. User defined, and most up to date version of the CMRT – Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition and Global e-Sustainability Initiative (EICC-GeSI) Conflict Minerals Reporting Template and EMRT – Enhanced Material Reporting Template. This template can be found at https://www.responsiblemineralsinitiative.org/reporting-templates/cmrt/
  2. AAG is audited on its due diligence efforts to collect this information from our supply chains. The framework for this audit is located in the OECD due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Area, which can be found at: https://www.oecd.org/investment/due-diligence-guidance-for-responsible-business-conduct.htm

We appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. Any questions you may have specific to this request can be sent to: purchasing@amstedauto.com
